XLine Dubai Marina turns one of the city's best-known waterfront districts into an aerial adventure. Instead of viewing the towers from the promenade, you launch from a platform approximately 170 metres above the ground and travel for about one kilometre towards Dubai Marina Mall. The line can reach speeds of up to 80 km/h, while the face-down “Superman” harness creates the feeling of flying over the water, roads, yachts and high-rise buildings.
The experience is fast, but it is not rushed. Registration, identification checks, equipment fitting, a safety briefing, transport to the launch point and preparation all happen before the actual flight. The official operator advises allowing approximately 60 minutes from registration until the ride is complete.
XLine is suitable for eligible first-time riders; previous zipline experience is not required. It offers serious height and speed without the aircraft exit involved in tandem skydiving in Dubai. That does not make it a mild attraction: riders must satisfy strict age, height, weight, health and clothing rules before they can participate.

Both cards use a guest selector and multiply AED 700 by the number selected. Neither card explains a meaningful difference between the two products, and neither provides a separate Young Adventurer category. This duplication can confuse customers and should ideally be replaced by clearly labelled adult and young-rider options in the package area.
The official XLine operator currently publishes an Adult Adventurer ticket for guests aged 17 and above and a Young Adventurer ticket for ages 12 to 16. Its direct public prices can differ from the Friends Guide resale price and may change, so the amount shown on the Friends Guide checkout remains the amount payable there. However, the correct rider category must still be recorded.

A “single ride” means one person receives one journey down the line. The attraction has two parallel lines, so two eligible people may be launched near the same time, but each person needs an individual ticket, harness and reservation.
The adult category is for eligible riders aged 17 to 65. Age alone is not enough: the participant must also meet the height, weight and health rules. A valid original photo ID is required at check-in, and the rider's name must match the reservation.

Bring proof of age. The official operator warns that a Young Adventurer who cannot present the required ID may need to pay the difference for the adult category. Do not book a 12-to-16-year-old through a generic adult-style card without confirming that the final ticket records the correct category.

These limits are operational safety rules, not flexible recommendations. A guest who weighs 44 kg or 101 kg is outside the published range even if physically active. Weight can be checked at the attraction, and staff have the final decision on participation.

The official operator lists complimentary digital photographs and video with its standard tickets. Images of two people flying beside each other do not mean that two admissions are included. Each rider must hold a separate valid ticket.
“Up to 80 km/h” is a maximum, not a guaranteed speed for every rider. Actual movement can vary with the rider, operating setup and conditions. The full 60-minute experience is not 60 minutes of flight; most of that time covers the controlled process around a much shorter aerial journey.
