Sky Views Edge Walk is an outdoor, hands-free ledge walk around the exterior of Address Sky View's main pod in Downtown Dubai. Participants step outside the building approximately 219.5 metres above ground, wear a full safety system and follow a trained guide around the tower's upper edge. There are no windows or normal balcony barriers between the participant and the open skyline.
This is not an ordinary observation-deck ticket. It is a scheduled adventure activity with strict limits for age, height, weight, clothing and health. Every participant must satisfy the venue's checks on the day, and the instructor has final authority to refuse or stop participation when safety requirements are not met.
The live Friends Guide Travel & Tourism ID 53 page currently has one bookable option: Sky Views – Edge Walk at AED 500 per participant. The quantity selector multiplies the rate by every selected guest. A booking for two participants therefore displays AED 1,000, while spectators, transfers and other Sky Views attractions should not be assumed to be included.
The current official Sky Views page displays Edge Walk General Admission at AED 499 and a special direct online offer at AED 299, while the Friends Guide card displays AED 500. Prices can differ by sales channel, allocation, date or promotion, but the customer should know exactly what the Friends Guide rate includes before payment.
The live card does not list Observatory access, the Glass Slide, professional photographs, transport, meals or a souvenir. Friends Guide should confirm whether its AED 500 option contains any benefit beyond the Edge Walk itself. If it does, that added value should be named on the voucher. If it does not, the card should be presented simply as an Edge Walk participant ticket.
The official booking portal sells Observatory with a free Glass Slide as a different product. It also lists separate dining, aquarium-combination and ultimate-experience tickets. Their features must not be copied automatically into ID 53. Clear separation makes the package easier to trust and prevents a guest from arriving with the wrong expectation.
At minimum, a confirmed Edge Walk ticket should provide entry for the selected scheduled session, check-in, the required safety briefing, the compulsory Edge Walk overall and harness system, supervision by the venue team, and participation in the exterior ledge walk subject to eligibility and weather.
The experience gives a direct outdoor view across Downtown Dubai, including a dramatic perspective toward the Burj Khalifa. The view is part of the setting, but visibility, lighting and the exact route cannot be guaranteed. Dust, haze, cloud, rain, wind or an operational restriction may change what participants see.

The official visitor information estimates approximately one hour and thirty minutes for the complete Edge Walk experience. This is more realistic for itinerary planning than quoting only the minutes spent outside. Peak periods and sunset sessions can take longer.
Arrive at least 20 to 30 minutes before the scheduled visit; the general FAQ advises 30 minutes. Reaching the entrance at the ticket time is late because check-in, consent and equipment fitting must happen first. A missed briefing can lead to lost participation.

Sky Views Observatory is a viewing attraction with panoramic areas and a 46-metre glass floor. The Glass Slide is a transparent exterior tube between levels. Neither is the same as walking around the outside ledge while connected to a harness.
