Dinner in the Sky Dubai is a crane-lifted dining experience at Skydive Dubai in Al Sufouh. Guests sit in secure rotating-style seats around a table with chefs and service staff in the centre. After a safety briefing and belting process, the platform rises to a maximum of approximately 45 to 50 metres, subject to the safety officer's decision and weather.
The live Friends Guide Travel & Tourism ID 56 page currently sells two options: Dinner in the Sky at AED 750 per guest and Lunch in the Sky at AED 750 per guest. The quantity selector multiplies the price for every selected seat, so two guests display AED 1,500 before any tax or extra service that may apply.
The package cards do not let the customer choose one of the venue's six daily session times. They also do not show the three-course menu, dietary selection, VAT treatment, height and weight restrictions, weather insurance or cancellation conditions. These details must be confirmed before the booking can genuinely be described as instant.
Lunch and dinner use the same elevated platform concept and currently have the same official headline price. The main practical difference is the session time, daylight and surrounding atmosphere. Lunch sessions can provide brighter views, while later dinner sessions show more city lights. Sunset cannot be guaranteed by selecting the word “dinner.”
The official venue presently lists three lunch sessions and three dinner sessions every day. Friends Guide should add a mandatory session selector rather than confirming only a date. A seat is valid for the booked session, and the platform will not be lowered for a late guest after it has risen.
Times can change with operations, season or special events. The final voucher must show the exact reporting time and platform session. Choosing “Lunch” or “Dinner” without a time is not enough.
The Friends Guide cards display AED 750 per seat. The official price list also displays AED 750 but says all listed prices exclude 5% VAT. If VAT is added to AED 750, the payable amount becomes AED 787.50 per guest.
Another section of the official terms says prices include local taxes, so the venue's own wording is inconsistent. Friends Guide should confirm whether its AED 750 rate already includes VAT, whether AED 37.50 will be added at checkout, or whether it has a contracted tax-inclusive rate.
The website card should display the final amount payable rather than surprising the customer later. Any booking fee, weather-insurance charge, celebration package or transfer cost must also be shown separately before payment.
The Lunch package is designed for one of the earlier three daily sessions. It can provide clearer daylight views of Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah, the coastline and surrounding towers when weather permits. The 5:00 PM session may approach sunset in some seasons, but sunset timing changes throughout the year.
Lunch does not mean a shorter or simpler experience. The official schedule allocates ninety minutes, including approximately fifteen minutes for belting, sixty minutes with the platform raised and fifteen minutes for unbelting.
The menu should be confirmed from the current chef selection. Guests choose among published starters, main courses and desserts, subject to availability and dietary conditions. Lunch is not automatically a buffet, private table or unlimited meal.
Dinner applies to the three later sessions beginning at 6:30 PM, 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM. The earliest dinner may include a transition from daylight to evening depending on season, while the later sessions usually focus on illuminated skyline views.
The word “Dinner” does not guarantee a private romantic table. Up to twenty-two guests can sit around one platform, and the venue says some sessions may operate two tables. Couples book individual seats and share the experience with other customers unless a separate private-event arrangement is confirmed.
Birthday, anniversary and proposal arrangements may be available, but decorations, cake, message boards, private music, flowers and special photography are not part of the standard AED 750 card. Ask for a written celebration quotation in advance.

The current menu marks Fresh Burrata and Penne Pesto as vegetarian and identifies nuts in several dishes. This does not make the entire kitchen allergen-free. Cross-contact can occur, and the venue says it cannot guarantee preparation without common allergens such as nuts, dairy or gluten.
