AURA Skypool Dubai Booking: Sessions, Seats and the Full Cost

Choose an AURA pool session by its time, booked seating area and total cost, with clear checks on inclusions and guest eligibility.

AURA Skypool is a pool experience high in The Palm Tower, with views across Palm Jumeirah and the city. Booking it is more detailed than buying a general observation-deck ticket. You choose a session, a seating type and an available area, and those choices affect the price.

The easiest way to compare is to check four things: time, seat, view and inclusions. Then look at food spending, guest eligibility and the change rules. A starting amount alone does not explain the full reservation.

This guide uses official information checked on 27 October 2026 and explains the choices in plain English. Session availability, rates and conditions can change. Confirm the exact dated reservation before paying, particularly when booking for younger guests or a group.

What is AURA Skypool?

AURA is a pool and hospitality venue on the fiftieth floor of The Palm Tower on Palm Jumeirah. The official visitor information directs guests through St. Regis. It is a different experience from simply looking at the city through an observation-deck window.

You are booking access for a selected time window and the seating arrangement stated in the reservation. Read the product carefully if you mainly want a photograph, a swim, a meal or a celebration. Those wishes may point to different available experiences.

Is it the same as The View at The Palm?

No. The View is a separately ticketed observation attraction in the same tower, with its own viewing levels and visitor route. An AURA pool reservation does not automatically include The View, and a viewing-deck ticket does not provide pool access.

If you mainly want to understand the Palm's shape and take skyline pictures without a pool session, compare The View at The Palm. Check the current View ticket options and confirm the entry period for that separate visit.

AURA pool sessions explained

The official floor plan checked in October lists Sunrise from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, Morning from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Afternoon from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Evening from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Use the actual calendar for your date to confirm which experiences are operating.

These are separate sessions, not one admission that runs through the day. Choose the window that suits your plan and read its end time. Arriving later within a window does not automatically extend the reservation into the next session.

Sunrise

Sunrise can suit visitors who enjoy an early start and want a quieter-feeling morning plan. The official page describes selected operating dates, so do not assume the session runs every day. Check live availability before arranging an early taxi.

If you arrive after the session starts, the stated finish still applies. Leave enough time for the journey, entrance and changing process. A short delay can matter more in a three-hour window than it would in a flexible all-day outing.

Morning and afternoon

A daytime session can fit a pool-focused holiday plan with time for changing and a meal afterwards. Compare the light, your chosen seating area and the rest of the day. If a particular view or position matters, check it on the actual floor plan before choosing.

Afternoon can appeal to visitors interested in changing light, but do not treat the session label as a guaranteed sunset photograph. Sunset time varies by date, and weather can affect visibility. Choose a reservation you would still enjoy without a perfect sky.

Evening

Evening gives a different city atmosphere and a later finish. Check the current operating experience and any age conditions for the areas you intend to use. Pool entry and an indoor lounge arrangement can have different rules.

Plan the return journey before staying late. A nearby dinner or hotel arrival can make the schedule look easy, but you still need time to change and reach transport. Keep the next morning's plans realistic if the session finishes late.

The indoor lounge is a separate experience from pool admission. The operator states that lounge access is restricted to guests aged 21 and above after 7 PM. Confirm whether your reservation provides swimming, lounge seating or dining; booking one does not automatically include the others.

How much does AURA Skypool cost?

The price depends on the date, session, view and seating. The official Sunrise page checked in October advertised entry from AED 225 per person. That is a starting amount for an available product, not a promise that every seat or date costs the same.

The floor plan lists different rates for first-row places, other seating and cabanas. Open the actual available arrangement and compare its full total. A low starting amount may not apply to the particular position shown in a photograph you like.

A simple two-person example

Two entries at the advertised AED 225 starting example would total AED 450 before food, drinks or other charges. This is a calculation using a dated starting amount, not a quotation for a specific pair of seats. Your selected reservation decides the payable total.

If you move to another seating area, calculate the pair's new total rather than looking only at the per-person difference. For a larger group, confirm capacity and the number of places included. A cabana amount and a per-person seat rate may use different pricing bases.

Check the extra guest basis

A named cabana can have a stated guest capacity and an additional-guest rate. Read both before assuming a group can share one reservation. Confirm whether the quote is for the seating unit, each person or a combination of the two.

Do not add a friend on arrival without checking. The venue needs to manage capacity, guest eligibility and the actual seating arrangement. A clear group list before purchase is much easier than trying to enlarge the booking at the entrance.

Entry fee and minimum food spend are different

The official pool terms say entry is not redeemable against food and drinks. That means the admission amount should not be treated as a dining credit. Food is charged separately unless your exact product clearly says otherwise.

Some seating also carries an additional minimum food-and-beverage spend. The checked floor plan identifies such a condition for certain afternoon Marina and Palm positions. Read the specific reservation because an attractive seat rate may be only part of the commitment.

How to calculate the full amount

Add the entry for all guests, any required minimum spend and other confirmed charges. If a reservation requires AED 500 food spending per guest, two guests would need to account for AED 1,000 in that spending requirement in addition to the separate admission, under the stated conditions.

Ask which purchases qualify and how unused spending is handled. A minimum spend is not automatically refunded if you order less. Read the exact terms before booking a position that includes one, especially for a group with modest dining plans.

Breakfast is not automatically included

The Sunrise page describes breakfast service but says food and beverages are charged on consumption rather than included in the entrance fee. A menu beside a pool package can be tempting, but it does not make the meal part of the admission price.

If breakfast is important, check the menu, service time and dietary arrangements. A specific session can use a particular menu rather than every dining option the venue offers. Ask about allergies directly before choosing the meal.

Daybed, sofa or cabana?

Choose seating based on how your group wants to use the time. A pool visit with regular breaks may suit a different arrangement from a short photo-focused outing. Read the exact seating description and look at its location on the official plan.

Do not assume every seat is at the pool edge or has the same level of shade. If a feature matters, ask the venue about the specific available position. A general promotional picture does not identify the place attached to your booking.

First row or another position

A first-row label describes a particular location and can carry a different rate. Compare it with the other available places for the same time. Decide whether that position is important enough to justify the group total and any extra spending condition.

Other seating may suit visitors who mainly want access to the pool and a comfortable base. The value depends on your own plan. Do not treat every move away from the first row as a failed reservation if it still provides the experience you want.

For a group celebrating together

Ask whether everyone can be seated together, what capacity applies and how the booking is allocated. A few separately purchased places may not create one shared area. Give the actual guest count and explain the occasion before choosing.

If you want decorations, professional photography or a private event, check those separately. Ordinary pool admission is not automatically an event package. Settle the details in writing so the group knows what has actually been arranged.

Choosing a view

The official floor plan names Palm, Marina, Burj Al Arab and City Skyline viewing areas. Choose the area you are interested in, then compare available seating and rates. The label should be read with the actual layout rather than as a promise of one exact photograph.

Light and weather change through the year and the day. The official Sunrise information does not guarantee sunshine on a particular view. If photographs matter, pick a setting you like and leave expectations flexible about the sky.

Use the plan before the picture

Save the exact view and seating type from your reservation. If a social media image inspired the visit, ask whether it shows the same general area, but do not expect the venue to reproduce another person's conditions. The angle, season and weather may differ.

For a couple with different wishes, decide which feature matters most before booking. One person may prefer the Palm view, while another cares more about the session time or budget. A clear shared priority makes the choice easier.

What does pool admission include?

The checked Sunrise information lists the selected session, allocated seating, pool use, one towel per guest, changing facilities and lockers. Extra towels and robe rental can carry another charge. Use the actual dated product for the final inclusion list.

Keep food, drinks and optional services separate unless the reservation explicitly bundles them. The existence of a restaurant or lounge in the venue does not mean every pool booking includes a dining experience. Check each benefit rather than guessing from the setting.

What to pack

Bring the identification requested by the venue, the confirmed booking and suitable swimwear and clothing. Follow the current footwear, item and changing instructions. Keep unnecessary valuables and bulky shopping out of the plan where possible.

The official terms prohibit outside food and drinks. Ask directly about an essential dietary or medical need before arriving. Do not plan a picnic around an entry ticket that uses the venue's own food service.

Age rules need direct confirmation

Age check, 27 October 2026: AURA's general FAQ and standalone terms state twelve and above, but the embedded terms on its pool-session pages still state fifteen and above. Even the Morning page contains both versions. Do not use the lower age as automatic approval; obtain written confirmation from AURA for each younger guest and the exact dated experience.

Contact the venue with each guest's actual age and ask for written confirmation for the exact session. Bring the required identification. A separately named family event can have its own dates and terms, so it should not be assumed to change the rules for every ordinary session.

Do not assume an all-ages family pool

If you are travelling with younger children, choose an activity whose current eligibility is clear. Ask about an appropriate special event only when it is operating on your date. A general pool image is not evidence that the whole family can enter.

For a wider Palm day, compare suitable options such as the Aquaventure waterpark or an observation visit, checking their separate rules. The right alternative is one your actual group can enjoy together.

Getting to AURA

The official location information directs AURA guests through St. Regis at The Palm Tower. Save the current entrance instructions rather than following the observation-deck route by habit. The same tower can contain different visitor experiences with different check-in points.

For a taxi or transfer, show the exact venue location and allow time for the entrance and changing process. For public transport, plan the full connection to the Palm and the final walk using current service information.

Keep the return simple

Allow time after the pool window to collect belongings and get ready for the journey. If booking a driver, agree on the actual collection point. Do not use the session end as a promise that you will be at the roadside at that same minute.

If adding a meal elsewhere, leave a comfortable gap and confirm the restaurant location. Another Palm destination can need a separate journey even when it looks close on a map. A calm plan is more enjoyable than rushing in swimwear between bookings.

Cancellation and changes

Three ways to compare a real reservation

For a pair choosing a Sunrise view, the checked floor plan listed a Marina first-row example at AED 350 per person and a Palm first-row example at AED 425. At those examples, the admission totals would be AED 700 and AED 850, a difference of AED 150 for two. The pair should then add food and transport and check that the same choices are actually available on their date.

For a pair considering an afternoon Marina first-row place, the checked plan showed AED 500 per guest with an additional AED 500 minimum food-and-beverage spend per guest. That would create a combined admission-and-required-spending amount of AED 2,000 for two under those listed conditions. It is a very different budget from seeing only the AED 500 seat rate. Confirm the actual reservation and any further charges before using this as your quote.

For a group considering a cabana, start by checking how many guests the base amount covers. Then ask whether more people are allowed and how each additional guest is charged. A two-person cabana price should not be divided among four friends unless the venue has confirmed a four-person arrangement. The group also needs to know whether its seating and any spending obligation are shared or calculated for each guest.

These examples show why the cheapest starting figure and the final reservation can be very different. Choose the view and seating you want, obtain the full group total and compare that with your budget. If the amount is uncomfortable, a different session, another seating position or a separate observation attraction may fit the holiday better. There is no need to buy an expensive arrangement simply because it appears in the most striking photograph.

Read the actual cancellation terms before paying. AURA's published pool terms describe restrictions on changes and refunds, with a separately offered guarantee under its own conditions. Do not assume a weather concern, illness or travel change automatically creates a refund.

If considering an optional protection product, read the deadline, covered amount and cost at booking time. Keep it with the reservation. A flexible-sounding add-on still has specific conditions and should not be treated as unlimited freedom to change plans.

If your group changes

Contact the venue before adding guests, replacing names or changing the seating arrangement. The answer can affect capacity, eligibility and the total. Keep the revised confirmation so everyone follows the same date and entry instructions.

If a guest cannot attend, ask what the actual terms allow. Do not assume a ticket can be passed to another person without approval. Resolve the issue through the venue or named seller's normal support process before the session.

10 frequently asked questions about AURA booking

1. Is an AURA ticket the same as The View at The Palm?

No. AURA is a pool experience, while The View is a separate observation attraction in the tower. Buy the appropriate product for the activity you want and use its own entrance instructions.

2. Does one ticket last all day?

Not automatically. The reservation covers the selected session under its terms. Read the start and finish, and do not assume arriving late extends access into the next window.

3. What was the advertised starting price?

The official Sunrise page checked in October 2026 advertised entry from AED 225 per person. The actual date, view and seating can cost more, so confirm the full reservation total.

4. Is the entry fee food credit?

The official pool terms say admission is not redeemable against food and drinks. Budget for them separately unless your exact product explicitly includes a dining benefit.

5. What is an additional minimum spend?

It is a separate required level of eligible spending under the reservation's conditions. Some seating carries one. Check the amount per person or unit, qualifying purchases and how unused spending is handled.

6. Is breakfast included with Sunrise entry?

The checked page described breakfast at an additional charge rather than included in the entrance fee. Confirm the current menu, serving time and dietary arrangements before planning the meal.

7. Can a twelve-year-old join?

Do not assume so. AURA's general FAQ says twelve and above, while embedded pool-session terms still say fifteen and above. Obtain written confirmation directly from AURA for the guest's age and exact dated session before paying, and bring the requested identification.

8. Can I choose any seat when I arrive?

Your booking includes an allocated arrangement under its terms. Check the selected view, row or seating type beforehand. Do not assume a different photo position or seating upgrade will be available on arrival.

9. Are towels and lockers included?

The checked Sunrise description included one towel per guest, changing facilities and lockers. Extra towels and robe rental could cost more. Use the actual product list for your reservation.

10. What should I check before paying?

Confirm the date, session, seat, view, guest eligibility, admission, food spending and final total. Then read the arrival instructions and change terms so that the whole group understands the plan.

Book a clear experience, not only a view

Use AURA's official dated reservation information for the pool experience. If you want help shaping the wider Palm day, contact Friends Guide Travels or browse our Dubai attraction options. Keep each venue's ticket and arrival process separate.
