Itinerary:

Check-In: To get to iFly Dubai, your journey starts at the Mirdif City Centre. When you get there, go to the iFly reception where you will be welcome by friendly staff who will take you through the necessary formality of check in to screen. Do take your identification proof or your passport along for identification. Patience is also required during the check-in process. We recommend being at the place at least half an hour before the session to not be late.

Safety Briefing: The check in process leads you to a 20 minute safety briefing conducted by a certified flight instructor. This training is very critical as it deals with each & every precaution measures, hand signals, and good working postures to embrace once in the wind tunnel. Before the actual flight, the instructor will give you demonstrations and address all your questions, thus making you ready for the flight.

Gearing Up:After the briefing it is in time to put on your gear. You are required to wear closed shoes, to which iFly Dubai offers disposable socks, flight jumpsuit, helmet and goggles. The facility is maintained at a cool temperature due to the powerful fans, so it’s advisable to wear something warm under your jumpsuit.

Flight Experience: After security statements and personal protective equipment in, you will then disembark to the flight chamber. The second generation of the double vertical wind tunnel at the iFly Dubai site has two huge fans, with each of them having 400 horsepower which creates an extraordinary turbulent stream that is required for free fall.

Flight Session: For beginners, the first session is oriented on the adaptation to flying and the correct position during flying. The instructor support and guide you with techniques that enables control to be achieved. The second flight session is available for those who are already experienced on the Flying Fish or willing to feel the flight adrenalin. Flips, spins and other airborne maneuvers are performed in this session.
